QuickBooks Online Integration 

QuickBooks Online (QBOL) is Intuit’s cloud-based version of their popular accounting software.  It offers anywhere access to your financial data.  Stone Edge Order Manager (SEOM) currently only supports connections with the desktop version of their software.  Intuit has been focused on moving customers onto the online version by ending support for certain versions of the desktop software, moving to a subscription only model, increasing the price of the desktop version year after year and continually adding new features to QBOL.  As a result, customers using SEOM will need a connection with QBOL.  Technology Copilot offers a fully functional integration with QBOL and Stone Edge.  All major functions of the current export are supported.  All versions of Stone Edge that support the QuickBooks Desktop export are supported.

Technology Copilot has teamed up with Roxanne Brown Home (consulting4qb.com) who is a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor and overall expert in the current and QBOL integration with SEOM.  She will work with you during the setup process and is available for additional services as you need related to your QBs desktop migration, QBOL training and any other bookkeeping needs before or after the conversion.

If you are using QuickBooks Desktop, your data file must be reviewed first to ensure converting to QBOL is an option.  NOTE: There are limits to how big a desktop database can be to convert, as well as other considerations.  Roxanne will review your current file, discuss the process overall and present your options for migrating to QBOL.

  • Active QBOL subscription. Must have Essentials version or higher.

Notes

  • Software updates include any bug fixes and software enhancements.
  • Support includes troubleshooting / fixing any software bugs that might arise in the application.
  • Support doesn’t include troubleshooting and fixing anything outside of the cart integration.
  • Examples:
    • Anything system related – Out of hard drive space, hard drives crash, files accidentally deleted, etc.  affecting the software’s ability to function.

Pricing

  • One time $500 setup charge. This includes:
    • Meeting with Roxanne Brown and Technology Copilot to discuss process and answer any questions.
    • Creation / configuration of QBOL ‘private application’ that’s used to connect to SEOM.
    • The setup and testing of the software by Technology Copilot.
    • Review results of testing/Q&A
  • $40/month which includes software updates and software support.
